Challenge description | We are looking for companies with knowledge of the following requirements:
At present, transcranial magnetic stimulation has a good effect on motor function rehabilitation of hemiplegia patients, but the accurate location of the stimulation target is still a challenge. In clinical practice, motor evoked potential (MEP) method is often used to locate the target in the motor area. However, due to the damage of cerebral cortex in the affected cerebral hemisphere of stroke patients, motor evoked potential cannot be generated by magnetic stimulation. Therefore, MEP method often fails to locate the target of stimulation. It’s expected for technology enterprises to provide functional near-infrared spectroscopy (f NIRS) , because its high sensitivity to cerebral cortex activation can more accurately judge and determine the stimulation target, so it is more feasible in the process of clinical magnetic stimulation. Technical requirements: It requires the built-in universal brain model and the head model that can scan the custom individual characteristics. The custom modeling time should be short, which is less than 5min; It can display the stimulus focus in the form of 3D and calibrate the visual position, and the calibration time is less than 10s; The relocation error of the stimulus target is not more than 0.25 mm. |
