“TAIHU” Cup International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

OVERVIEW

Wuxi is known as one of the strongest economic powerhouses in China. The “Taihu” Cup innovation provides Danish and other international companies with a stage to share business ideas and innovation progress with a local Chinese audience, and a chance to win cash rewards. International contestants also get the opportunity to find Chinese business partners, and to engage directly with Wuxi Municipal Government.

The participating projects should be in line with the provincial and municipal policies on industrial and scientific and technological talents, and have certain forward-looking, innovative, and excellent development potential and market prospects. The track will be set up around key industries and future industries in Wuxi, such as  information technology, life and health, advanced manufacturing, new materials, new energy, and the Metaverse.

Contest Details

Danish companies are now also invited to join the contest. All proposals related to the Key Sectors will be reviewed.

The international team group semi-finals will be conducted in the “cloud” roadshow mode, and the semi-finals will be held in the areas where the overseas registration projects are concentrated. After the semi-finals, the number of places to advance to the finals will be 20 with due diligence by the evaluation experts.

Prizes of 100,000 yuan, 50,000 yuan and 10,000 yuan will be given to the first, second and third prize winning projects of each group. The award-winning projects in each group that meet the basic application conditions of the ” Talent Plan in Taihu” will be directly included in the 2023 annual support, and will be given financial support of 1 million yuan to 10 million yuan respectively.
