RNA targeted therapy is an important and growing field of drug discovery. However, progress in drug discovery has been limited by a lack of understanding of the tertiary structure of RNA, especially the binding sites that can be made into drugs.
We hope to develop a series of innovative approaches to gain a more complete understanding of short-read and long-read sequencing folding results to identify interactions that lead to unique higher-order folding structures.
AstraZeneca is looking for partners who can help it develop AI/physics-based methods to accurately predict RNA tertiary structure and folding.
