|Challenge description||Challenge background:
Degradable plastics refer to plastics whose properties can meet the requirements of use performance and remain unchanged during the storage period, but which can be degraded into environmentally harmless substances under natural environmental conditions after use. They can be converted into fertilizer, carbon dioxide and water through composting. After planting sugar-containing or starchy crops, it can be converted into organic molecules used to produce polymer materials by fermentation or chemical processing. Such a biodegradable cycle can significantly reduce the impact of waste plastic on the environment, and it is also an effective way to achieve resource recycling and utilization.
As degradable plastics, PLA and PBAT boast excellent performance, mature production technology and high degree of industrialization. They are the mainstream of future industry and are dramatically promising in its development.
We are looking for companies with knowledge of the following requirements:
It’s expected to improve the utilization rate of raw materials and production efficiency while improving the performance of existing market products. The mature and marketable production of degradable plastic PBAT and PLA can be developed. In the process of esterification reaction, it’s expected to reduce the degree of side reactions, and develop a THF recovery device to treat THF and water separately. The mass fraction of THF should reach more than 96%; And the mass fraction of THF in its wastewater is controlled at about 0.05%.
It is estimated that the future market income is calculated according to the net profit of 5000 yuan/ton and the annual output of 20000 tons conservatively, with the annual net profit of 100 million yuan.
