Considering the unique resource situation and urgent power demand in some parts of China, a 300kWp photovoltaic power station with energy storage system is being built in demonstration, which runs in parallel with the local independent small hydropower station to form a water/light complementary power generation system and provide stable and reliable power supply. It can provide important theoretical foundation, core technical support and equipment for water/light complementary systems in these areas and our country.

Technical indicators:

1) The 300kWp photovoltaic power station with energy storage system runs in parallel with the Yushu power grid composed of local small hydropower stations to supply power to Batang Airport.

2) The 200kVA voltage converter can realize parallel operation with hydraulic generator; Maximum efficiency is more than 90%, and the total harmonic distortion rate of output power THD is less than 5%.

3) The 150kW high efficiency charging controller can reach more than 93% of maximum charging efficiency, with photovoltaic maximum power tracking function, intelligent management and perfect protection function.

4) The capacity of the energy storage system shall not be less than 1.8MWh, ensuring stable power supply for more than 3 hours for important loads of Batang Airport.

5) Data acquisition and remote monitoring system of water/optical complementary power station can be realized to monitor the operation of the power station in real time.
